This was my second time using Hire Taxi Japan. Both rides were perfect.  I was picked up at Narita Airport with the driver waiting for me right after customs holding a sign with my name.  We were taken to the van quickly and on our way after a 12.5 hour flight.  Daniel was my driver on the return trip to Narita.  The pickup was perfect and right on time and we got to the airport in about 1 hour which is very good when leaving from Tokyo.  Once again in a nice comfortable van.  One item that I will point out with both drivers was communication.  They used What'sApp and did an excellent job during the pickup process being in constant communication. Great experience. Ryu met us at the door of our train car when we arrived from Kyoto to Mishima on the Shinkansen. He took good care of our family and showed us some great spots for viewing Mt. Fuji (weather in August did not allow great views) but we did see some beautiful gardens and lakes. Takuya was amazing. We gave him the wrong address at first which meant him negotiating some extremely tight, narrow streets. 5 stars — Exceptional service, especially when plans went sideways

We used HireTaxiJapan twice during our family trip (2 adults, 2 kids) and both experiences were fantastic, but it was how they handled a last-minute crisis that really won us over.

Our first driver, Hayasaka, picked us up from our Tokyo hotel and drove us to Haneda Airport. He arrived early, sent WhatsApp updates the day before and morning of, helped with all our luggage, and even pointed out a few notable buildings along the way. Genuinely went above and beyond.

Our second driver, Matsumoto, took us from our Sapporo hotel to New Chitose Airport. He was right on time with a sign waiting in the lobby, helped with luggage, communicated clearly over WhatsApp, and drove very smoothly and safely with our kids in the car.

What really stood out was how the team handled a sudden change of plans. Typhoon Chan-Hom cancelled our Sapporo-to-Narita flight, which meant our Narita hotel and airport pickup no longer made sense. We had to cancel that booking the same day while scrambling to figure out our next steps from Sapporo. Once we sorted out a plan, we reached back out to see if they could instead get us from our Sapporo hotel to the airport. Not only did they line up a driver (Matsumoto) quickly, they moved our existing payment over to the new booking with zero extra fees or cancellation charges. They even tracked down a forward-facing car seat for our 2-year-old and emailed us at 1AM to confirm it was sorted.

The whole process was seamless, transparent, and stress-free during what could have been a really frustrating travel disruption. We'll definitely be using HireTaxiJapan again on future trips to Japan and recommend them without hesitation.

Perfect !!!! Esay to contact service to clarify my request with quick feedback. Easy procedure to book. We needed to change the the booking because of ussues with th flight and  also in this caae it was all very quick and easy to do it via Whatsapp. Just after landing the I received a message from the driver who was outside the arrival gate waiting with for us. Kenny was waiting for us with a sign upon entering the arrival hall. He messaged us on WhatsApp ahead of time to let us know where he'd be so we were in constant communication with him in real time, once we landed. This is a top notch company. Our inbound flight was circling for over an hour then we were diverted to another airport. They were monitoring this on the ground. They were in contact as soon as I touched down through what's app. Always very responsive. They ended up flying us back to our initial airport hours after sitting on runway. This company held tight and was ready as soon as we were.

Our airline had to delay our outbound flights and again they were very communicative and punctual. No issues nice vans great drivers and they speak English decent which is a huge bonus for us.
Would book again and again.
